“What types of fishing do you teach?”

We can work on whatever method that you want to learn although becoming a spoonplugger will allow you to know when to apply another fishing method. You should learn to become a spoonplugger first, then learn some of the others.

“How do I find when you are available for a trip?”

We will have an online calendar that you can look at to book a trip, or call.

“What is Spoonplugging?”

Spoonplugging is a total concept for successful fishing. It was created by a man named Buck Perry and is practiced by thousands across the country for many years. It is a fishing method that was invented back in the 1940's and is as effective today as it was then. The fish have not changed and spoonplugging is still the best way to go about catching them. Spoonplugging is about Knowledge of a fish and what you and I must do to catch him. The spoonplugging method allows the fisherman to become as good as he or she wants to be. There is no end to the learning.

“What is included with my trip?”

If you are there for me to just catch as many fish as we can and not worried about the learning , then I will do my best to catch as many fish as possible for the conditions that we face on that day. On some days that could be as few as none to as many as you can imagine. For those that are wanting to become a student of spoonplugging, we will work on the many guidelines and get you started catching fish on the very first day. It will be the beginning of successful fishing for the rest of your life.

“Do I have to troll?”

You and I will do whatever we have to do to catch a fish on the particular day that we are on the water. Much of the finding of the fish is done by trolling. Trolling is a great teacher. It allows us to cover a great deal of water faster and come up with an idea of what the fish are doing at that particular time. It allows us greater speed control on certain weather conditions.

“Where are you located?”

I live in the north east Indiana (Wolcottville). I am 18 miles from the Michigan line and about 30 miles from Ohio.

“What equipment do I need to bring?”

If you have a favorite casting rod and you want to bring it, that is fine. Otherwise I will supply whatever else is needed.

“Will you travel to my lake?”

Yes I will travel to your lake. Time and distance will be considered in each circumstance. You and I will work on locating the best spots available on your favorite lake and teach you how to catch the fish.

“Where can I purchase your blade baits?”

You can purchase these at www.balesblades.com
